| Each child that is a part of one of our substitute family homes will follow this six-phase restoration process that will help develop them into independent adults able to support themselves. Phase 1 Relationship BuildingDeveloping trusting relationships with children and their families through local Christian community outreach programs Phase 2 Triage Children will receive: 1. Physical assessment with treatment and detox, when needed 2.Basic training on personal hygiene and house rules and responsibilities 3.Educational Evaluation 4.Intensive psychological assessment This process will vary in length based on the individual child Phase 3 Restoration process
1. Immediate enrollment in school accompanied with daily tutoring 2. Connecting children to a local church 3.Educating children on the family model and it's importance 4.Assessing personal interests, strengths and talents 5.Ongoing personal and group counseling 6.Daily devotions including worship, Bible study, and teaching the seven principles of life Phase 4 Reunion with familyOngoing intervention and counseling with each child's family with the goal that every child will be reunited with their family Phase 5 Higher educational training
Private school education through high school, followed by enrollment in a technical/vocational school or university with a goal that each child will have the education and training to attain employment Phase 6 SendingGradually integrating children into an independent life by assisting them in finding permanent employment and housing. |
