This summer, ESTHERS will be joined by Sofie Henneberg again in Recife to shoot another short documentary for their Painting My Dream project.  During this time they will also be organizing a Photography Camp to do with the girls 10 years old and older at the Quiet Strength Community Center in Vera Cruz.  Through this camp, they hope to teach these girls the art of photography, and help them discover the simple beauty in their somewhat tainted world around them.  Each girl will select one photo to be auctioned off at ESTHERS’ Gala in the fall.

To best facilitate this camp, ESTHERS will be collecting 30 basic point and shoot cameras and memory cards for the girls to use during the camp.  These cameras can be new or used.
