ESTHERS is preparing to host teams of 8-12 people during the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil this summer.  The games will be held from June 12 until July 13 throughout the entire nation of Brazil.  The Arena Pernambuco in Recife will host a total of 5 games – including the match between the United States and Germany on June 26.

During these 4 weeks, and the weeks following, ESTHERS will offer the opportunity to host teams to engage with the work at their Quiet Strength Community Center offering activities and camps that will help support their mission of preventing human trafficking and child prostitution during this heightened season of international trafficking.  Statistically, the number of children trafficked and sexually exploited continues to increase exponentially during the World Cup.
