About Us

ESTHERS’ vision is to End Sex Trafficking for HER. Their mission is preventing sexual exploitation, child prostitution and restoring its innocent victims in an environment where they can learn to love and be loved. ESTHERS uses a holistic approach to transform lives, transform families, and transform communities by turning today’s young girls into tomorrow’s Modern Day Esthers. Their dream is that, just like Esther, God would use them as His vessel to rescue their people for His glory.

ESTHERS began their work restoring children who had been sexualy exploited in Recife, Brazil in 2007 when they opened ESTHERS House, a restoration home for girls between the ages of 4 and 12. This ministry was home to 18 girls over the following 4 years. In 2011 they furthered their reach by opening the Quiet Strength Community Center in Recife with a focus on preventing sexual exploitation and child prostitution of girls between the ages of 4 and 18. Today their work also includes outreach in the local community and weekly intervention to the families of each girl in their care.
